Let the downforce be with you! Grassroots Motorsports magazine sponsors an annual event in Gainesville, Florida, daring participants to build race cars on an unbelievably low budget. Inspired by Jim Hall's 1970 Chaparral, a group of gearheads from Cincinnati built their "Cheaparral" for $1926, and came up with an ingenious active downforce system to help their car hug the track.
