Through an unbelievable set of coincidences, I purchased this truck back in September of 1994. It was unquestionably my destiny to own this truck! It is one of only two in all of North America, and the only one in the United States!

It has an aluminum, in-line four cylinder, 531 cc, dohc, liquid-cooled engine that is canted almost 90° to the left. The crankshaft is supported on three roller bearings, and it breathes through 2 twin throat Mikuni / Solex side draft carburetors. With a redline of 9,000 rpm, it produces 38 horspower @ 7,500 rpm, and maximum torque of 31.1 lbs.ft. @ 4,500 rpm. With the column shifted 4 speed transmission, it achieves a maximum speed of 65 mph.

In addition to being a mid-engined sports truck (the seat is located behind the front axle, underneath the seat), another nice feature of this truck is the ability to fold down both sides of the bed as well as the tailgate, in essence giving the owner a mini flat bed as needed.

It is the brother to the S500/S600/S800 series of sports cars, and shares the same basic driveline.
